A quick moment with Muser Studio

I wasn’t planning to make anything.

I just wanted to show a friend how fast Muser Studio take you from an moment of inspiration to a real layered video – no additional or specialised gear, no prep, just my iPhone, a pair of AirPods, and a guitar.

The method

So I tapped out the tempo, literally. Self-administered shoulder taps to mark the beat, quick start/end marks around my playing to drop in the bassline – the unmistakable Billie Jean groove.

A second loop for the higher register stab chords, then top it off with the MJ-vocal melody as inspiration for a little guitar soloing, and boom. Done.

The time it took you to watch this video was the time it took to make it.

The take away

It came together surprisingly nicely, and quicklyl!

For me, this Billie Jean loop cover is furher affirmation as to why I built Muser Studio in the first place: to make looped video performances an immediate event, even (or especially) when they’re unplanned.
